BROADCAST BURLESQUE

Picture
November 8, 2014
Rendezvous Jewelbox Theatre
Seattle, WA

One night!
Two burlesque radio dramas!
Three drinks per patron! (not really, although maybe?)

"Lesbian: PI" written by
Sailor St. Claire &
Marcus Gorman
"Bolt Action, Moon Mayor!" written by Scarlett O'Hairdye & Bolt Action

Thrilling adventures! Daring drama! Striptease in stereo! Scarlett O'Hairdye, producer of the only badly lip-synched burlesque B-movie Showgirls of Beast Island, and her compatriot Sailor St. Claire, producer of Tuesday Tease, team up to transform the Jewelbox Theatre into a recording studio to celebrate the bygone days of radio drama... with a burlesque twist.

Featuring the vocal and striptease talents of Bolt Action, Fosse Jack, Sin de la Rosa, Sailor St. Claire and Scarlett O'Hairdye (with additional vocal work by Vanadium Silver), Broadcast Burlesque features two original radio plays full of intrigue, action, and, of course, nudity! In the hard boiled detective drama, "Lesbian: PI," our heroine is a no nonsense private eye who always gets her woman. A mysterious and alluring dame sets her on the trail of a clever cat burglar, and our PI gets more than she bargained for as she finds herself drawn into the strip club underworld... and ever closer into the arms of the dame.

Then, stay tuned for an extra-planetary adventure in politics with "Bolt Action, Moon Mayor!" It's just an ordinary day at the moon office for Bolt Action, Moon Mayor, and his trusty Vice Mayor Scarlett O'Hairdye until villainous Pink Floyd arrives from the Dark Side of the Moon with some real estate plans that could change the landscape of the moon... forever! Will the Moon Mayor be able to save the good people of the moon from pernicious developers? Can he get a kitten safely out of a tree? For the answers to these questions, tune in to Broadcast Burlesque!
